    Gate valves

    The gate valve body is made of cast steel and it is suitably dimensioned to assure a high safety factor. The thicknesses are always higher than the mini-mum ones established for GATE VALVE by the API Standards. The Series 150 has been designed with particular care, being the oval section of the central body suitable to stand irregular deformations. Also the body of the Series 300 has got an oval section, but only near the seats, while the rest of the body gets wider and assumes a circular section.
    The bodies of all the upper Series have got circular sections, in order to allow the most uniform distribution of the str esses.
